Port 201: Portuguese Techniques
Stacy will be hosting a one session class to help you advance your basic Portuguese Knitting skills into more advanced techniques and stitches in the style of Portuguese knitting. This is a "choose your own adventure" class. If you want to learn color work, please come with a swatch started in the main/background color and a color work pattern you'd like to work with. If you want to learn cables (with or without a cable needle), feel free to bring a cable pattern you want to try out. If you want to learn Brioche in Portuguese, PLEASE let us know ahead of time so that Stacy can brush up on her Brioche. Anything else you need help with Portuguese knitting wise is welcome.
Pre-requisite: You must know how to knit in Portuguese style already. If you don't, then please take the two-session introduction class first.
We will not be making anything in particular. Please bring a swatch for practicing on during class. Remember to bring at least two colors to learn color work.
The Tangled Ball is more than willing to help you find a beginning colorwork project for this class & will offer 10% off yarn for projects.
