2024 (1/24, 2/7, 2/21) Choose your own Needle Adventure: Vanilla Socks
Skill Level: Intermediate Beginner (need to know how to knit and purl and be comfortable working with small yarn/needles)
US Size 1 needles in 32 inch fixed circular needles, 9-inch fixed circular needles, 2x16in fixed circular needles, or 2x24in fixed circular needles
Yarn: Fingering/Sock Yarn (some amount of nylon blend is encouraged)
Schedule: 3 weeks, 1.5hr sessions
Week 1- Cast on, Cuff, Leg
Week 2- Turning your heel with a classic heel flap and gusset
Week 3- Foot and Toes/Bind Off
This class meets bi-weekly and each sock is taught one at a time. Between classes, it is up to you how much you knit- you can choose to practice your techniques on your second sock, or just catch up to the next step in the pattern.

To date, she's crafted over 25 pairs for family, friends, and herself. She's always on the lookout for new techniques and tips to enhance her sock-making. Whether in the car, at the movies, or during a stroll in the park, Megan's knitting needles are a constant companion, making socks her go-to project for every occasion. |
