(12/6, 12/13) Alpine Bloom Hat - Colorwork
This Scandinavian-inspired floral design is a fun and striking knit! I used sport weight yarn, but you can play with fingering and DK as well (taking gauge into account) to make this a great pattern to knit again and again. This fun colorwork hat pattern is written for both child and adult sizes.
Schedule:
Homework before first class- cast on and knit 1.5 inches of ribbing.
(12/6) 1st class- cast on and intro to knitting with 2 colors at a time.
(12/13) 2nd class- decreases/finishing the hat (adding a pom pom or poof).
Materials:
2 contrasting colors of Sportweight (or similar) yarn to get gauge.
Size 4 and 6 circular needles. (or needle sizes to match gauge).
