Basics and a bit more - Knit Companion

Introduction to Knit Companion -  - Come learn the basics available in the paid version of the app. You'll also get some time to practice, and some extra tricks that make it so nice to use. 

Who should come to this class? You are KC curious or have been using the free version but are thinking about switching to the paid version. You currently use the paid version but you don't know how to do much beyond loading in a pattern and using the counters. 
*Please read the list below. If you do not already know how to do all of these things, then please enroll in this class BEFORE taking the advanced class. 

In this class we will cover: how to get a pattern into KC (including if you only have it on paper); why and how to link to Ravelry and the cloud; the differences between knit/edit/setup modes and how to toggle between them; how to add highlights, notes, pop up and text boxes; changing colors of highlights and text boxes/pop ups; creating and naming text and chart pieces; a trick for easily cropping chart pieces to utilize the chart counter; how to use, rename, and change colors on basic counters; adding and using keys; reordering pages in your pattern; making keys; deleting unwanted items.

What to bring: Your device (ipad, computer, phone...) with KC (free or paid but note you will not be able to do much with the free version). *If you are not already using KC, you can come to class without it and share someone else's device.
