Lakes Cardigan

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Reading a pattern, obtaining gauge, selecting yarn, increases and decreases, construction of saddle-stitch shoulder, cardigan construction, button band, button holes and short rows. 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Intermediate. You should be very comfortable with casting on, knitting, purling, and fixing simple mistakes in knitting before taking this class.

5.5 mm (US Size 9) 16” and 32-40” circular needles, or the required needles to obtain gauge (main needles - used for body and sleeves).
5 mm (US Size 8) 16” and 32-40” circular needles (used for hem, cuffs, collar, and button band).

NOTE - Gauge swatch will be done in class.
