Have you been interested in learning to spin your own yarn, or maybe you want to share the joy of spinning with a friend? Our Handspinning Kit is the perfect combination of all my favorite spinning necessities all in one box! At only $45 it is the perfect gift for a friend or for yourself.

Included is our absolute favorite beginner handspindle. It is hand-turned by Elizabeth of Greensleeves Spindles and is perfectly weighted for a beginning spinner. I still use mine even after years of spinning. It is approximately 1.2 ounces and can spin anything from fine to chunky yarn. I love mine!
Also included are two different kinds of undyed combed top. I prefer to use the BFL (Bluefaced Leicester wool) to begin with and then try out other types of fibers. We put in one ounce of the exquisite 80% Organic Polwarth Wool/20% Mulberry Silk blend so you can get a taste of luxury fibers, too.
We've also included three of our hand-dyed pigtails in BFL, Merino, and Polwarth wools for you to try out. These will be assorted random colors. It just depends on what we have in stock at the time of shipping.

Last of all is one ounce of 100% Merino Parfait, the stripy blended colors, in the Arcade colorway. It's just so much fun to spin and watch the colors blend together.
The kit will come neatly packaged in a reusable box.
